Dr. Rhonda Ross is a highly skilled and compassionate veterinarian with over two decades of experience in small animal medicine and rehabilitation. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Following graduation, Dr. Ross began her career in Mobile, Alabama, where she practiced for three years before relocating to Georgia. In July 2000, she took over what is now Ross Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center, building it into a trusted, full-service veterinary facility serving clients across Covington, Metro Atlanta, and the Southeastern United States.
Dr. Ross holds advanced certifications in Animal Acupuncture (CVA), Canine Rehabilitation (CCRP), and Veterinary Medical Manipulation (CVMMP). Her passion for integrative care has made her a leader in veterinary rehabilitation and alternative therapies, providing pets with personalized treatment plans that go beyond conventional care.
When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time outdoors with her beloved four-legged companions. She loves running, walking, and exploring local parks—always finding time to stay connected to the animals who inspire her work every day.

Johnny has been a vital part of the Ross Animal Hospital team since 2006, bringing nearly two decades of dedication, compassion, and hands-on care to our practice. As Hospital Administrator and Director of Operations, he plays a key role in ensuring the clinic runs smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and their pets.
Known for his deep love of animals, Johnny especially enjoys spending time in the kennel, where he works directly with the pets under our care. His commitment to treating every animal like family is evident in everything he does—and our furry patients feel it, too.
Whether he's managing daily operations or caring for "all the babies that come in," Johnny’s passion and presence are a cornerstone of our hospital’s success.
Tara
Registered Veterinary Technician

Tara is a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician who has been working in the field of veterinary medicine since 2004. She earned her Associate's Degree in Veterinary Science and obtained her Veterinary Technician license in 2016. Always striving to grow in her profession, Tara is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science to further deepen her expertise.
With a strong clinical background and a passion for patient care, Tara plays a vital role in supporting both our veterinarians and pet owners through every step of treatment and recovery. Her calm demeanor and love for animals help create a reassuring environment for pets and their families.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and dogs, often exploring the great outdoors together. Whether hiking trails or relaxing with her family, she brings the same energy and care to her personal life as she does to her work at Ross Animal Hospital.
